Our founder Laura Simonow spoke to German Vogue about our values, our plans for the future and the holistic ethos behind This Place.

Your well-being is at the centre of all our efforts. We typically spend months or even years in the laboratory developing a formulation. This results in products that not only work, but the quality of which also fulfils the highest demands: namely yours.

 

 

Laura's goal? To turn the international beauty industry on its head with her heart, intellect and new ideas: "If you want to build a successful brand, you need caution and patience. Our contents reflect these principles of deceleration."

 

"Our vision at This Place really does go beyond just skincare. We want to improve long-term health. Our most popular product is The Glow, a face cream with an anti-inflammatory effect for daily use. The success of the product and the high repurchase rate of our customers confirm the results of a corresponding study, which showed a 98 % reduction in inflammation," says Laura.



Rarely have we been so excited about an interview. Especially because Lena Elster took a lot of time to discuss the brand's journey with great sensitivity.

Ultimately, it's about the philosophy and the drive behind everything we do. In many ways, that is the essence. The essence of our products and the motivation of the entire This Place team.
