Red Ginseng - your Power Ingredient for Nourished Skin

Although the small root may seem unremarkable to some, Asian Ginseng has a longstanding tradition in natural medicine. Thanks to its versatility, it is called a cure-all in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Therefore, it should come to no surprise that in the world of skincare, Red Ginseng is also known as a true multitasker.

Ginseng can stimulate the natural collagen production of your skin and reduce the breakdown of already existing collagen fibres. Thanks to its high content of antioxidants, it can also protect your cells from free radicals and associated damage. Furthermore, ginseng can reduce pigmentation spots and increase the moisture content of your skin. The natural plant also has anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties, making it a gentle but effective alternative to synthetic ingredients in the treatment of acne and dermatitis.

It contains hyaluronic acid, which, as a natural component of your skin, is responsible for storing moisture. Moisture is absolutely essential for the functionality of your outermost skin layer, the stratum corneum.
